Nice one Thomas,
just to say that b4 we put too much work into it, we should see how the idea
takes. And my initial demarcations need revision, they were just to serve as
a preliminary suggestion. But also as you imply, individuals might 'manage'
one of the particular areas of concern and focus maybe on leading the
discussion on the specific topic when it comes up. Atm we should work on
what we percieve as the crucial areas of concern, and try to bring our
collective experience to bear on what ought to be included in the respective
sections.

Erik, you are demonstrating your cultural prejudices.
You call it delirium...but I shall call it shamanic
trance! It's a wonderful idea...thanks for being the
group's shaman!

Right. We could use Empire as our core book
and have selected readings in the other books you
propose around the respective topics. That way,
even if a given person could not do any of the extra
readings, she/he could still participate in the
discussion from having read in Empire.
Since I have "Insurgencies"
I volunteer to cull the appropriate
pages which should be read in that book in relation to
the Conception of the State and constituted power.
Perhaps everybody could volunteer to do this on a book
they have and/or an idea the particularly interests
them.
