I agree, it would also mean people would not be restricted by a specific
text, as we would (and already have started to) put together a short biblio.
for some of 'themes' in Empire. The latter would remain the main text and
people could bring any number of different authors, texts to fill out the
reading.

I restate that I like the idea of doing the
seminar type approach as put forth by Erik.
It would employ all the works mentioned and more
(concentrating on Empire) but with a thematic
approach.
