Negri's influence on the 'disobedienti', the white overalls, etc. is a
fairly common opinion in italy (I don't know to what extent it's true), but
I hadn't heard this about the black block. There maybe some link with '70
strategies of 'raising the temperature' of confrontation, so to speak, but
that was tied to a very particular period of Italian history and can't
imagine it having much use now - to be honest it failed then as well...

Has anyone read Callinicos' recent article in International Socialism

I have only seen the blurb. I thought it was a spoof the first time I
saw it, but sadly no.
Could make for a lively 'roundtable discussion' I suppose.
