R: R: [Generation_online] News from the gutter

Glad to hear you enjoyed it. I began fearing I was going to write a rabid
response to the New Criterion rat - these things just come over me and once
they get hold I simply cannot hold back. Fortunately I cooled off with an
angry off the cuff email and deleted the mail from my deleted items folder,
making it difficult for me to go back to get riled all over again.

Anyway. The reading. Are we going to set a date to start MbM, or are we
still at the stage of collating reading matter on living labour and real
subsumption? Does the plan for the thematic approach mean that there is no
'basic text' (other than Empire) and so we just come at the sections 'on
living labour' from our varying angles? Or are we going to do a
section-by-section reading of MbM and then interlink it with Empire and
pertinent readings surrounding it?

Does Thomas (was it you?) still have the mail with the section headings and
biblio? if so could you forward it me, or give us an update of where we're
at?

I think we should start sometime in the 2-3 weeks, otherwise we'll get so
wrapped up in 'what' and 'how' we're going to do things that nothing gets
done...

I should have put a health warning on it before posting. I did want to see
if Matteo would blow his top.
Looking through the archives I came across the marxist critiques part1-4 by
the eminent Proyect. Its funny to see how close the two positions are.

btw Matteo I think your response to Bull was excellent and put his sloppy
reading to shame.
